• Karnak Temple – Begin your tour with a visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious structures ever built. Walk through the impressive Hypostyle Hall with its towering columns and explore the sacred lake and obelisks dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.

• Luxor Temple – Continue to Luxor Temple, located in the heart of the city. This beautifully preserved temple was once connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes and reflects centuries of pharaonic and Roman additions.

After an early wake-up, visit the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Reach the temple by horse-drawn carriage, and explore its massive pylon, inner sanctuaries, and hieroglyph-covered walls.

Return to the cruise and enjoy a hearty breakfast as the ship begins sailing toward Kom Ombo.

🚢 Navigation to Kom Ombo & Temple Visit
In the afternoon, arrive at Kom Ombo and visit its unique twin temple, dedicated to:

• Sobek, the crocodile god, and

• Horus the Elder, the falcon-headed god.

Explore the symmetrical layout and visit the Crocodile Museum, which displays mummified crocodiles and fascinating artifacts from the site.

🚢 Continue Sailing to Aswan
After the visit, the cruise continues its tranquil journey to Aswan, passing scenic villages and fertile riverbanks.

Start your day with a guided excursion to two of Aswan’s most iconic landmarks:

• The High Dam – An engineering marvel of the 20th century that tamed the Nile, protected Egypt from floods, and created Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake.

• Temple of Philae – Visit the breathtaking Island Temple of Isis, rescued and relocated by UNESCO to Agilkia Island after the construction of the dam. This serene temple complex is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is surrounded by tranquil waters and lush vegetation.

Depart by deluxe air-conditioned coach (approx. 3.5 hours each way) through the Nubian Desert to visit the majestic Abu Simbel Temples, built by Pharaoh Ramses II. Highlights include:

• The Great Temple of Ramses II – With its four colossal seated statues at the entrance and beautifully carved interior chambers.

• The Temple of Queen Nefertari – Dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Ramses’ beloved wife, this smaller temple is equally captivating.

Both temples were meticulously relocated by UNESCO to save them from submersion after the construction of the Aswan High Dam — a true feat of modern engineering.

• Valley of the Kings – Explore the royal necropolis where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried. Visit three tombs, each showcasing colorful hieroglyphs and stunning wall carvings that have stood the test of time.

• Temple of Queen Hatshepsut – Visit the uniquely terraced mortuary temple of Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh, dramatically set against the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.

• Colossi of Memnon – Stop for photos at these two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, standing tall over the Theban plains.
